Ok, so this was my second time at Charlotte for a TNIA event. The first time was my first track day and it was good...but not great. Sorry, but going WOT from Nascar 1 to Nascar 3/4 and then only having about 30 seconds of actual turns...well, it wasnt super exciting after that first session. It was good, but, again, not great.
BUT, this time they had the two chicanes setup - what a difference that makes! I had a blast. I took many pictures, about 50, on my phone. But I accidentally captured one on my gopro when trying to figure out why I couldnt see any preview on my phone...turns out I forgot the little piece of clear plasic protection on the new gopro case.
And I'll post a short video from the final session when it really WAS Track NIGHT in America...and it started to lightly rain. It was my most fun session and also, I think, my best. Fewer cars on track meant I wasnt thinking as much about getting passed so I could just drive MY line at my speed and try to push a little here and there.
I WILL go back to Charlotte, but Im more excited about VIR in Aug and Sept
My wife worked the event. She is usually the novice coach but I'm not sure what she was doing this time. They were apparently a little short-staffed.

Mellanie or something? Shorter woman with glasses?
If so, yes, novice coach. She showed up and they had another guy, Stefan (?), there too. He did most of the talking, but she was doing a lot too.
