Yesterday I was at my local Sam's Club with my Prius and regular grade gas was less than $2. I just checked the app GasBuddy and today the same place is $1.93. Seems like a good time to take over my rarely driven (and rarely full tank) 38 gallon F250 Super Duty. I think filling it to the top will be a smart allocation of $70
The BP I pass going to work had it for 1.96 this morning. It’s been a while since I have seen it that low.
Let's just say: "someone" feels a bit guilty about doing that "something" to "someone else" and has turned the taps back on to see if everyone will forget about the "incident".....
(is that vague enough? Not really a flounder topic, but I was a bit concerned.)
Wow. I haven't checked today, but around here yesterday, the cheapest I saw was like $2.19/gal.
Must be nice, still $2.63 here

Just under $2.50 in Ithaca, but $.20 higher anywhere else in the area. Better than $3.
Uhhh well in the People's Republic of SoCal cheap gas is $3.15 ....
But it's sunny and 70F today.....
Rain tomorrow......

Please don't do this. This is far from as simple of an issue as you propose.
I have been watching events leading up to the price reductions for almost a year now.
I think it’s coming back up a bit. It seemed cheaper on Sunday, still not terrible compared to those in Barbados or PRC.

I can relate. The first time I filled my 07 F250, diesel was $3.44/gal. The pump shut off at $100. And it still wasn't full.
My wallet fainted.
I will be getting something different when I get to Tampa.
Got a bit cheaper here too recently - down to $6.99US/gal, dropping us from 2nd to 3rd~5th (tied) most expensive gas in the world.

Hell, British Columbia was higher than that over the summer, but that was for political reasons, not economic. I think I filled my car up all of twice between July and October, but that was for political reasons, not economic.

It is at 2.60 ish in the towns around me. I went to CT last week and there was a station near the jobsite that was 2.49. First time in 10-15 years I've ever seen gas cheaper in CT than in MA.
Here in Lansing, MI as I sit, cheap unleaded can be had for ~$2.05/gal, and yet diesel is stubbornly still $3.20.
That's quite the spread from 87 vs. diesel.
Unfortunately I need diesel.
Aside from filling up the Super Duty, I took the Montero up there later for 16 gallons or $30-ish.

Happy times - the V as a 45mile per day round trip usn't a horrible choice. Wondering what happens to my mileage after the next upgrades... Currently avg 16mpg with my foot in it.
When I pulled into Bowling Green, OH today, regular was $2.05. A couple hours later it had jumped to $2.29.
I am blaming this on Urban Meyer's retirement.
I paid $1.79 yesterday and I noticed the prices dropped again today.
