Holy crap indeed, I had no idea they could live that long. Time to watch some more Animal Planet I guess?
I hate chimpanzees and I still find that crazy!
That's the way I want to go out, throwing feces until the very end.
Some animals live stupendously long lives. I have a friend and his wife who have decided permanently not to have any children, because they have a bunch of large birds (parrots, cockatoos, etc) that are going to require full-time care for many decades to come.
