Lived here from '01 to '06, but haven't spent any time here in probably 3 years. What's good these days?

We're staying at the Hotel Sax by Marina City and House of Blues. Plenty of trendy-type stuff to do around here - any good E36 M3 hole dive bars in this neighborhood?

Might hit the Green Mill tonight since there's no cover. Most likely having dinner downstairs at Bin 36. But tomorrow is wide open, day and night.

Any advice from the locals?

I still like the Billy Goat Tavern on lower Michigan Avenue.

Also, Million Dollar Quartet is an awesome musical at the Apollo theater. They probably have 2 shows on Saturday. Fictionalized account of the day that Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins were all in the studio the same day.

I was there a long time ago and my friends and I went searching for dive bar Blues...I was too far gone to remember the bar or even what country I was in...but the music was great.
