The Chili Bowl may be the most graphic example. We are on night 4, I have watched way too many hours of this! It's just great racing. Flo kicks butt. Great coverage, behind the scenes footage, just top notch. I'd say this race week is worth the cost of the full year.
Anyway, Kyle Larson was killer on night 1. There is a good highlight of every A main on you tube if you want to stay up on it.
Fascinating kind of racing. Pretty badass to see a sprint car pulling a wheelie leaving the corner.
^That's what you get with 400+ hp and less than 1,000 lbs.
I absolutely love the Chili Bowl. I haven't been since 2016, moved to OKC in 2017. My dad and I used to always go on Tuesdays for the Race of Champions, but now that is on Monday.
When I lived in Sand Springs (suburb of Tulsa) with my ex, we went with my dad every year. It was his Christmas/Birthday present every year for me to buy us all tickets. But man do you STINK when you get home. At that house the washer/dryer were in the garage. So roll down the windows in the car to help air it out. Immediately strip down and clothes go in the washer and then into the shower.
But it's an absolute insane show to see live.
