I would LOVE to hear it.

FWIW, the French impression of an American is a dude standing around, smugly chewing gum. I learned this when I worked for a French-owned company.

When they spoke "American" it was pretty damn funny.

basically, hold your eyes as wwide open as you can with your fingers, and say " UHBaa UHBaa UHBaa UHBaa " and walk around in kind of a funky strut, bouncing a little bit and swinging your hips...apparently, our big eyes, long, open mouthed syllables, and bold/brash "swagger" is what are our most ...erm...mocked?...features.

Americans all walk around with cowboy hats, bee-bopping in a disco-esque dance/walk, speaking loudly and slowly as we go...quite hilarious

Ahhh, the typical person who doesn't know the difference between prejudice, bigotry, and racism.

I was being facetious, but I'm glad I helped you find a way to feel superior in this thread. Typical douchebag American....

That's pretty awesome.

"Loud and cocky" seems to be the basis of the American stereotype for a lot of cultures.

Thank you! If I'm unable to stroke my own ego at least 8 times a day on the Internet I get sad.

Isn't "Loud and cocky" kinda the point of the country?
