So it looks like they shipped diesel fuel as unleaded and there is a list of stations that got the deliveries.

does diesel contain lead?  i mean, maybe they're not wrong.

JK of course, i hope nobody here gets berkeleyed because of this.

I think I've been reading that most of these stations have been identified and quarantined. 

Helluva time to do it, though.  As people were trying to evac for the hurricane.

We sold threaded studs, bolts, and gaskets to a Citgo refinery in Lemont, Illinois.  We missed a traceability item and lost our contract.  Sales to zero!

So Citgo, nobody makes a mistake?

Theoretically it is possible that this mistake was due to a vendor's mistake, hence this cutthroat policy.

Citgo's official response on the news here was 'human error' by an employee.  Mostly 7-11's down here.
