Sounds fun! I'd love to come hang out with GRMers over beer again...but I won't be in the area.

It's a two-day National Challenge event, but one can register individual days, if you want to hit the beer festival on Saturday.
I just went to the Northern California Homebrew Festival this weekend. It was really incredible. I would miss a race weekend to go to that again. Don't know if that festival would be quite as fun. Certainly a bit different.
On that note: I got introduced to Baltic Porters. They have become one of my new favorite dark beer styles.

Looks like some squiggles in the dirt. See photo:

Great...I was just thinking my car-days were almost over for the year...
Is that in one of the parking areas for National Trails?
Word to the wise at brewing festivals: although sip-and-spit (like at wine tastings) is just asinine, dumping out a partially drunken glass(even of good beer) is appropriate. You don't need to slam back what's in your cup when someone brings around another great beer. That will get you in trouble faster than you realize.
That is the #1 thing I learned from the Home Brew Festival this past weekend.
