I'm trying to cut back. I get tense and irritable if I drink too much coffee. Berkeley U. and the Shiny Happy Person you rode in on!
See?
Aren't we also like 25th (and losing to the same damn countries) in children's school performance?
Looks like we have found the simple solution, we are using the wrong drugs on our kids!

It's got nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with Federal involvement in education, but I fear that a discussion on this topic would slide off of the road of civil discourse and slam head on into the oak tree of politics. Therefore, you will hear no more from me on this subject.
Some stores around here are offering free coffee all day. Imagine the "if it's free it's for me" people that get loaded up on caffeine... gonna be some added road rage out there today.
What are you Java heads using to brew at home? I know we had this topic in the past, but lets recap.
I use this: http://www.blackanddeckerappliances.com/products/coffee-and-tea/coffee-and-tea-makers/CM5000GD-12-cup-mill-and-brew-coffeemaker.aspx
It's got the ginder right in the basket, and I keep the beans in the freezer.
@RossD
Most days we use our regular coffee pot with a stainless carafe and no heat underneath the pot. It keeps coffee warm and tasty for easily 4 hours.
We also have a keurig that we use for family days (it does hot chocolate, teas, etc so everyone gets what they want), and we have an espresso machine for the fall and winter lattes if I get enthusiastic. Also, my wife just bought me an 'over-cup' filter holder (dunno what it is called but you set it on your cup, load it with beans and pour boiling water through). I love it because of its simplicity, though it does take a bit more work to do.
Soooo, one house, 4 coffee machines. I love america!

Sometimes I use a cone and filter over the cup, but we just got one of these:
Bialetti stovetop espresso maker
I missed having one; my folks always had one. They make a really good full-size-cup of something between coffee and espresso... (When they say "6 cup" they're talking about demitasse cups)
But I'm moving too slowly to operate anything this morning, and blew it by logging in here, so I'm running down to the corner mega-coffee-shop for a prefab mocha right now...
Two at home, one at D&D and one from Wawa.. so far. I think at least 2-3 more for today to round things out. I may not sleep the rest of the week, maybe I'll get some things done!

@ home is an Nespresso machine and a simple drip machine that we grind coffee for. Oh, and a HUGE french press.
For work, though, I grind coffee at home and use one of these- http://www.amazon.com/AeroPress-Coffee-Espresso-Maker-Filters/dp/B001HBCVX0
Similar to a french press, but is a whole lot easier to clean. Makes a great cup of coffee.
I've got a French press from Starbucks, the worker there was real sympathetic to me being a poor college student and gave me a discount on it .
Of course, I use it with my nice (kinda expensive) coffee from time to time, Death Wish coffee. Not to over promote, but I love that stuff. Delicious and super caffeinated. Look it up if you haven't tried.
I love the percolator we have at the cabin. I do have one at home; maybe I'll have to break it out this weekend when I have time to watch it percolate.
And now I'm about grab another cup at the entry level commercial Bunn drip and the pre ground, locally roasted beans.
Coffee is the lifes blood of the universe! Without coffee the world would die.
Mostly because if I don't get my pot of coffee per day, I will kill everyone I come in contact with.
