Dell Inspiron 1525. Nice laptop, does what I need. But it has recently developed a bad habit. At least half the time, when I tap the "H" key, it doesn't type it. Any suggestions?

  • Type a 4 and turn the screen upside down?
  • Use a language reference book to assist in finding words tat do not contain an H
  • Use the Windows "On Screen Keyboard"
  • Copy and paste your H's
  • When I was shopping for replacement hinges for my Toshiba, I always saw replacement keyboards on EBay for ~$10.00

Pry the H key off and clean out the Dorito crumbs hidden underneath.

what he said... it frequently fixes it... if not hop on ebay and find a new keyboard to replace what you've got....

I would just pop off the H key and swap it out for another less commonly used character like Q or one of the sideways moustaches.
