Looks cool! But also looks overbuilt/heavy for a bicycle. Now for a light motorcycle (electric or gas)... could be onto something. Thinking they should make it a convertible between a hardtail or some mounting point for a shock absorber.
1700$ or so with the 750W mid drive kit is a decently low price all things considered. Make it a 1000W and it would need moped licencing so I understand the appeal of the 750w kit.
Having said all of that, 1700$ would be amazing for a complete bike not a frame and e-drive system. Not when other people are cranking them out in China for sub 1K price points all day long. Not sure how many well healed bike guys want that style and are willing to take 1K extra in pricing. But the bike market is weird, I hope they succeed that is a very nice frame design for conversions.
The 1 1/8" steer tube is an interesting choice. Are BMX bikes still using that size? I thought most all MTBs had gone to a 1.5" or a tapered one.
