Yeah, I was there (bikeless) looking around. Definitely a lot of cool stuff there.
Totally awesome Honger creation at the $2K8 this year. 80's era Suzki GS 750.
He even let me take around the lot and the NHRA guys let him make a pass on it.

C'mon Officer, of course there's a baffle up there.

Interesting to look at, but no front brake, reversed controls, a hardtail, no muffler, front springs right about at eye level and a big pointy shift lever sticking up between the driver's legs? I wonder how long it takes before that rear sprocket/brake rotor is coated with chain grease and you have no brakes at all....

Okay, I don't see any controls on the handlebars Even if I assume the left handle twists to operate the clutch, are both brakes controlled with the feet?

No front brake at all. Rear brake is a caliper on the chain sprocket, operated with the right foot pedal. Clutch is operated with the left foot pedal. Gearshift is a beer tap handle, Throttle is on the left hand handlebar grip
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd berkeley up and kill myself with the back-asswards controls. But, I'd enjoy myself doing so, and look good to boot.
I've really gotten into Japanese bikes turned rat-cycles, mostly because I could actually afford one.
Downside? All the money is in the frame.

Left hand = throttle
Right hand = shift
Left foot = clutch
Right foot = brake (rear only)
Its not that hard to ride, but it does take a few mins to get used to. Coming to a stop is weird, you have to go into neutral... because clutch + brake requires both feet
Its an absolute blast to ride. The single rear brake works pretty well... but if it were my ride I'd probably put one on the front also.
Edit: Ok, hitting enter twice buts space between lines, hitting it once and everything is on the same line. I still hate this forum software.
...and if you stop at a light in gear with your foot on the clutch, lean RIGHT!
Saw a guy just fall right over once, couldn't put his left foot down without rearending the car ahead.
ProDarwin, left hand throttle?
Dan

That would get me killed faster than a Brit RH shifter or Binelli rotary shifter.
Pass. Although one of the big bike builders put a clutch on the left IN the twist grip. Weird, right twist, left twist, back off right twist, ease out left twist, roll on right twist....
My head hurts....

..ya put your right foot in and you shake it all about..
I don't get monkeying with the controls. Short of making it harder for a thief to ride off on your cycle.
The right hand shifter is an actual Guiness Stout tap handle.
That has to be the coolest thing I've ever read on the internet.
I wish he'd also put up a pic of the Captain Morgan brake fluid reservoir though.
