Just returned from a quick trip to my mum in Switzerland. I had hoped to spot a few cool cars along the way but there weren't many. Switzerland used to be full of cool cars but it's either too early in the year (possible) or they all converted to bland Euroboxes a little while back.
Most memorable one was a Renault 5 Turbo (the original mid-engined one) in semi-gloss black with tinted windows and red painted grills. Went like stink and sounded good.
Spotted a couple of C5 and C6 'vettes, a few sixties Mustangs at a dealer in France and that was pretty much it.
Oh, and I bought a German classic car mag that had a title story of someone implanting a 6.3l Merc V8 into a sixties-vintage 280SL, complete with air suspension out of a 300SEL 6.3. Apparently he duplicated and improved on a factory mule that was scrapped a long time ago.
