Being a mopar guy, and a GLH lover I figured I'd have to share this commercial with you. Did you notice the torque steer at the end?

Not only do I remember that ad, I think I actually ran it at a local affiliate back then.
Remember the one where the Daytona was in "Blade Runner"?

Lando!
Yeah, I liked the action in the GTi commercial, but I liked the GLH one better. Only because it was a GLH. I'm totally biased.
In reply to DrBoost: Understood.
I however may be changing my tone soon to something a little more Eye-Talian!

Ohhh, you glutton for punishment.
I want (and will one day own) an Italian car. I just wonder how long after taking ownership I will be overcome with deep regret.

I noticed that the front wheels were turned to the right.

I was thinking of the new Fiat commercial with the Girl in it about 20 years from now. We're getting a Fiat Dealership and am on the list for 500t information and drive as soon as they get one. The future looks bright.
I've driven a few different iterations of the 500, one I can't even talk about (OH IT'S KILLING ME THOUGH) and they are very cool.
Makes me want to pilot the Falcon through a Deathstar and celebrate with a Colt 45. Which is pretty similar to actually racing a GLH because it is as ugly and cobbled together as the Falcon and it will make you so poor keeping it running that you can only afford a 40-ounce to wash down the embarrassment of another damned door handle coming off in your hand.
With that said, I'd love to have a GLH-S. I still miss my older brother's and while I've enjoyed my CSX, the two GLH-T's I've had in the past were so much more fun to toss around that you mostly ignored the issues. Mostly.
My GLH has been very cheap to hop up, and very cheap to run. Maybe it's an exception? My folks had two N/A Omni's (THAT'S how cool they were ) and they were both quite reliable, the cars, not the folks.

That's probably a "stage prop". Looks bigger than 1/24 (too small to show it's an Omni), and 1/18th diecast didn't get big until sometime in the '00s, IIRC. I'm thinking 1/12th stage prop because 1/12th is also "dollhouse scale", and they could have found someone to build it on the cheap.
Sorry, dude..TV guy flashback. I still remember wrapping empty boxes with paper & bows to make it look like there were presents under the tree on our local afternoon chat show one December.
I wanted one two. I had just gotten into building model cars when that commercial came out and my Dad and I tried several hobby shops to try and find one.

How about this:
I got it at a Canadian Tire. It came on a trailer, pulled by a '41 Plymouth truck or something. I didn't want the truck or trailer, but the GLH for $13 was a score!
