Anybody use the CoPart auction recently? Was thinking this might be where I find my challenge car. I'm assuming the runs and drives icons range from barely get it on a trailer to drive it home and no icons = assume it doesn't run, but hope for best.

I really want to use them, but don't have an account and think a subscription is fairly expensive.

I had access a couple of years ago.

When the local insurance was purchased by Copart...it got REAL expensive RIGHT NOW.

I don't recommend it, especially for an individual.

Not open to non-salvage-lecensees, at least in my area.

I know it used to be wholesale only. Then, in the last couple of months, I saw several Copart commercials on TV. Seems an odd move for a wholesaler.

I bought an S10 from them for my son, the fees are the killer. Go to the site and do a search just click the "no license required" filter and you'll see what the average Joe can buy with an account, which by the way cost me only 29.00 back in December.

And Dwight, it seems the really good yards (PA) don't have anything for the public, most of the public stuff seems to be in MN, SC and the Midwest, I can't get anything here on the Island either without a dealers license.
