I am not sure what my son's first car will be ( 2002, 240, e30???) He like them square.
But I do know I want these wheels for it.
They look so good on so many types of rides and not to bad on price

Am I crazy for waiting them for the Jeep's good wheels and keeping the snows on the aluminum wheels?
Please tell me they make those in a 19 x 10 inch. I know they do two piece setups, I would LOVE a set of the polished ones for the R8. Dealing with HRE or BBS is a pain and those are cheap and really cool.
I noticed a Ford Transit Connect van the other day that had these wheels, so they may be a choice if you can find some at a salvage yard. I think they're 16 x 6.5, but there are a number of companies out there that could put wider and/or larger rims on the centers. I don't know the bolt pattern, you'd have to look that up.
These are exactly what I have had in mind for the clubman and why I have a saved CL search for 16" mini steel wheels.
Can't tell if they are banding a Dorman replacement wheel or re-shelling the centers. Either way it is really cool. When I find what I am looking for I plan on banding them out to 8"
I plan on a fair bit more tire than this though

The bassetts might not be round but they hold air.

Bassetts don't come in anything but 15/16 I think. I ran them and kodiaks on my old Shelby racer.
I have been going through some E36 M3 trying to get my three piece BBS's to not leak right now. I am not doing a three piece wheel again if I can help it.
Thanks for sharing—these steels are awesome. I know they're heavy but as far as utilitarian cool is concerned, it doesn't get much better.

It was mostly a joke..
back in my jeep days, these guys had a reputation for being able to make anything out of steel. http://www.stocktonwheel.com/ I don't know if that is still the case.

There are some crazy good guys I know. This is what I would love to do but I cannot go through making three pieces again. I refuse.
Those steels are rad, anyone have a idea of weight. Heavyish im sure. But are they no worse then a basset? Im looking at a 15x9
