According to the ad he's only asking what he owes, so after you over-pay for this fine piece you have to wait to get the title from the bank!
KBB private party value

we all just wanna get what we have in it, yea right
Dear Seller,
Congratulations! You bought a Kia Rio so poorly you can't sell it for less than twice what it's worth. You're the victim of your own stupid emotional spinning head. Next time you may learn a little something about what you're actually buying. At this rate, you'll cheat all your future children out of an opportunity for a college education by the time they're old enough to go. At this rate you will assure all the car salesmen you contact will provide that very same opportunity to their children. I'm sure they thank you in advance for your future generosity.
Please do not expect us to bail you out for a mistake that could be avoided with fifteen minutes of research and a calculator. Unfortunately, we are not very optimistic as we feel there is a $500 car running on $20K worth of 25-inch wheels in your future.
Most Sincerely,
The Rest of the Freaking World

Yep. Also, who murders out a f'n Rio?!?
What did those cars go for new?
lots of slippage when pulling away from a stop. Who wants to bet their next car will be an automatic?
Those alpha clutches are pretty sturdy. My 2000 Accent (uses same clutch/trans) has 195+k on the original.
I've driven a variety of manual transmission cars for almost 40 years (I'm 46 btw so that tells you my age when I started). I've never had to replace a clutch with less than 150k on it, minimum. How bad at driving a manual can you be?
^ The only car that is the exception to the rule for me is that Elantra. Mix small pull-type clutch with a 6200rpm redline, a clutch release restrictor plate to slow clutch engagement and a horrible pedal feel with 30+ dragstrip passes, and you'll replace it at 34k.

yet another reason i took out the slave cylinder delay spring in the forte! 36k with no clutch slippage and 25 or so passes at the 1/8th mile! lol
I'm glad someone already pointed out what rio's cost new in 06. so I didn't have to. There was a kia dealer here trying to sell a rio 5 (granted, with the sport package or whatever) with 60k on it (an 06 in 08 or 09) for 17k. passed on it and got a $2000 isuzu instead.
I have a problem getting it through my daughters head that she is paying for two cars even though she posses only one. I couldn't believe the bank OK'd the loan. All she thinks is that her old car is paid for, yet I try to tell her that she is still paying for it.
In reply to mndsm:
I sent him a little more sensitive one. I think he is probably getting alot of those right now.
2k more than the asking price of it when it was new, coupled with a bad autocheck score, and questionable mods makes me want to troll the guy.
