When I found out my wife was preggo, I started thinking of cool names for the kid. Of course, my last name is Hamilton, so I started thinking Michael Parker Hamilton (MPH) would be cool. We found out it was a girl, so her name is Kourtlyn Parker Hamilton (KPH). Still works.
So, what crazy automotive names can you think of, and how would they relate to the kid. I'll go first...
Lucas Fredrick Ingram
(Lucas F.I.)
May have some mental issues, doesn't really function too well...
Holley Carbajal
(Holley Carb)
Extremely easy to work with, may be temperamental at times.

I wanted to name our oldest daughter MacKenzie. My wife liked it too. Until somebody told her my plan. MacKenzie Truckenbrodt or Mac Truck. Her name is Hannah Olivia = H.O.T. I suppose this worked out best for her self esteem as she gets older.

My sister is an MPH (technically MWPH - megawatts/h? - but she hates the W and never uses it.) My full name is initialled JMPH. I like to stick a 200 in there so I'm on a few other forums as Jay200MPH. Pretty sure it wan't intended, but my dad has always been a gearhead too...
When my Mopar buddy's wife was pregnant with their second daughter they were coming up with names. He suggested Dana. His wife liked it but later questioned him if it had anything to do with cars. He said "nope."
Dana is about 12 now and is a motorhead.
If we had had a girl instead, her middle name was going to be Elise. My wife was okay with that, even after she asked, "Wait, isn't that a Lotus?".

One of the local radio DJ's was talking about wierd names yesterday morning and the one that struck me was that someone named their son "Duramax". I kid you not! I think he talked to the childs mother this morning but I wasn't able to catch the interview.

My buddy named one of his daughters Brittany (a Ford blue color) and his son Gregory Taylor (G.T. for short). Yeah, he's a Ford nut.
On the flip side, naming your daughter Lexus, Mercedes, or Porsche almost guarantees that those dance lessons will be applied in her future career...
A friend of mine has the last name Martins. I suggested both Aston and Doc for names for her firstborn. She didn't listen to me. They never do.

Mercedes was a girl's name before it was a car's, but for Porsche it would be better to spell it Portia and claim you're a Shakespere fan. :) Lexus is just wrong to use as a name, though.
My son's named Lance Garrison - Lance for a family friend, Garrison being a name off my family tree - but we had considered Lucas, as well as Kelsey (as in Kelsey Hayes). Actually, my brother in law's last name is Hayes - it's too bad he didn't name one of his kids Kelsey. I'd also suggested Stirling, but my wife wouldn't even consider that one...
hahaha this is awesome
My buddy is having a kid, his last names Stewart. So I said, Burt Brandon....BBS
Car names and/or things are just clever for babies no matter what anyone or wife says haha
If I have a son I want to name him Austin Healey.
My best friends initials are BMW. They have lots.
Waitress' name badge read "Camber".
I asked if her dad was into cars.
She said "yes" and knew what camber was.

What works well with Smith? SWMBO has already said no Stig.

A fellow racer who is in to LBC's named his son Austin. Another one I know has a son named Turner.

Time for a Divorce I say! :P
If you planned to hate the kid for bugging you all the time you could go with the initials TPMS

Making sure this gem doesn't slip by.
my sons name is Colin, his initials are CAR
My SO and I have already picked names for the first born.
Girl: First name Adelaide (like the grand prix circuit in the Australian city of the same name) middle name Michelle (like Mouton)
Boy: First name Stirling (like Moss) middle name Phillip (like Hill)
If this is a serious question, remember that your kid is going to have to live with whatever goofy name you give them for the rest of their life.
