someone uses a combination of factory and aftermarket parts to put a manual trans where one was never put from the factory...

that, people, is called "hot rodding"..

Dodge learned the need for the auto after trying 6sp only, I almost bought one of the 6sp srt10's back in '08. The consumables versus the lightning was laughable though.
