Haven't seen him online lately. Anyone heard or seen him? Just checking to make sure that He's all right.

I was thinking the same ... I thought he would be happy about the new "Open Classifieds". And we get to see some cool cars at great prices.

This came up in another thread because he had agreed to buy a car and not followed through. No one has heard from him recently, but a couple of members with his number said they would reach out and see if everything is okay.

I am trying to buy two engines and a transmission off of him. I haven't heard anything from him since April 25th. (Not that I am upset, it was a "if you find them, I will buy them" sort of deal).

Last I heard from him was on June 10th, he bought an 840i. Haven't heard from him since. Hope everything is fine.

I was thinking of him too the other day. We had agreed to trade cars (my 944 for his e30 cabrio) once my title came in. We stayed in touch a bit over email and then he sort of disappeared. Figured things come up, but he's been totally quiet on here too. Hope things are okay.

I just sent an email his way, if I hear back I'll make sure to update here.

I hope he's just real busy. He may have gotten POed about the zoo thing.

He just emailed me back, said he'll try to pop on today.

It's nice to see the group watching out for each other like this. Gives me hope someone will find me when I'm trapped some where..

Yea. If you've got what he wants, you'll hear from him. Otherwise, don't expect even a "thanks but no thanks" message.

the wild dogs didnt get me. i wasnt crushed under a car. i had something dramatic happen in my personal life that pretty much took all the air out of my sails. i have been fighting a couple of illnesses over the last couple of years and this just aggravated them.

i considered selling all my cars, shop equipment and tools. i went as far as talking to a couple of auctions. then something happened that made me realize that cars will always be part of my life. So i will be thinning the herd by a lot and wont be buying and selling as many as before but i will still be involved with them.

i will be placing about ten cars on the "open classified section" before i try sending them to a auction.
