We are going to cut the cord and I have it down to two options, HULU + Live and FUBO.
HULU... has all the ESPN networks for F1 but no BBC America for Dr Who.
FUBO... has BBC but no ESPN. However, I am signed up on the ESPN app which requires you to have a cable provider. Do they purge you if you drop cable or do I slip through the cracks? No F1 is a deal breaker.
Otherwise they both look about the same on paper. Does anyone have relevant experience with either or both?
Disney plus has a package deal with add supported hulu and espn for like $12/month.
Prime had the majority of BBC programming, but I've been informed since the first of the year some things have gone missing.

But Hulu already has all the ESPN feeds.
Not the answer to your question, but we cut the cord in Nov.
We are using YouTube TV and haven't had any issues with service, or getting the programming we want (but also have prime and Disney+).
You would need to check what is included for your area to know if it's covered.
Just cut the cord myself.
Hulu does have BBC America, but not Dr Who
I did this a while ago, ghetto coat hanger antenna is good for like 30 channels, had netflix a while, probably will switch from netflix to some other streaming service soon, seen all they have to offer.
I have heard that "cutting the cord" and going with YouTube TV will generally result in you paying about what you pay for cable. If you have a specific, somewhat limited set of needs (especially if you can get over the air local TV) you can probably save something, but the companies involved clearly know what is going on and will do there best to get theirs.
Of note: Disney WILL eventually own all media sooooo.....
SUBMIT TO THE MOUSE. THE MOUSE IS YOUR LORD NOW.....
How can I get the College Football National Championship?
It is on ESPN but my understanding is it is not on espn+ from the Disney package.

I'm in a weird place where I have all the steaming services, but I don't think i actually pay for any of them. Hulu has been a part of my Spotify subscription since forever. I don't count paying for Hulu since I probably wouldn't pay for it if it wasn't effectively free with Spotify, which I will gladly pay for.
Netflix is free with my phone bill? Something like that. Whatever. No Netflix bill.
Prime is prime. We order enough E36 M3 from Amazon that we would have it even if not for tv.
Oddly enough, we also have cable tv- that is part of my apartment complexes mandated technology package. I would not have cable I'd I had to pay for it, but it falls to the internet/home security whatever, and since it's in my rent anyhow- whatever.
I'm probably a terrible example.

The last time I looked at hulu live with those feeds it cost more a month than my cable package did, why I suggested as an alternative. I don't do sports or really watch racing, so not sure how packages they are.
A 'never have been' rather than a 'cord cutter' here. I'm looking for a way to get F1, Indy car, IMSA and WEC in one package. I've been told that subscribing to the Hot Rod YouTube channel gets pretty much all motorsrpot related stuff. We already have Prime and Netflix so I don't want to subscribe to HULU or any other service as well.
Any other options out there?

For us internet and Hulu plus live saves us about $35/month... they kill us with the extra set-top boxes and stuff.
Actually, the decision might have been made by our TVs... the 2 smart TVs have the Hulu app built in but I don't think they have Fubo. IF the ESPN app doesn't get purged when I drop cable then Fubo seems like the better deal.
Cutting the cord means exactly that - not just switching to a streaming service(s) to get your fix.
Havent had cable in 11 years - dont miss it. I do have Amazon Prime and The Wife watches some stuff on Netflix. So I havent cut the cord. But I am not gonna pay extra for it either.
If you fully cut the cord, how do you get your racing fix?
I just switched to Sling and am looking at adding A Lucas TV subscription to keep my racing jones happy.

Hulu and Hulu+Live are not the same thing. Hulu+Live adds the ability to watch ~60 or channels live, like cable. Hulu Live is also $60/month.
OP, we have Hulu Live so we can watch Ok St sports and OKC Thunder. And the occasional HGTV binge or something like that.
In reply to John Welsh :
sign up for Youtube tv. they have a short free promo period. CXL right after. or keep.

Motortrend on Demand. Its a seperate app and subscription. When I clean up my finances it is something I want to get again. Original content plus feeds for various races

Lots of stuff available on YouTube, often the week or so after the event.

Youtube. Look at the series official channels. They often put the races up there a week or so later. You can also often get the qualifying and other events.

This. Occasionally ill watch mythbusters or topgear or a movie or something. But id rather read and listen to the radio. If it wasn't for the family, we wouldnt have Netflix either.

Got rid of cable 5 years ago and don't miss it a bit. I got tired of paying over $100cad every month to watch Guy Fieri eat a cheeseburger.
We have Netflix, Prime and CBS All Access.
Still cheaper but even if the cost were the same, watching commercials is a deal breaker for me.
Turns out there's seriously only one legal way towatch the local hockey games without cable, and that is fuboTV, which is almost 60 friggin bucks a month. Or I could pay for NHLTV and use a VPN to get around the blackout.
Friggin' con artists. We just went from cable+internet to just internet, and and we'll save over $100 friggin' bucks a month. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna put half of that back into one streaming service.
