Now some of you saw my post introducing Daisy.
Here she is helping out.
This of course means the the unseasonably warm and dry weather here in northern MN is about to come to a halt and we'll get a few feet of snow. I just pulled the snow tires off the mazda.
Which is OK, we need precipitation in whatever form, the fire situation up here is approaching disastrous. Got to watch some water bombers working the other day though, was cool to see, but I wish it hadn't been right next to a friends house.
I like the leash with a rotor attached!

She can move it pretty easily if she wants to, but it provides enough drag she generally doesn't. When I move to a new spot to work, I just take the rotor with.
If you loop the leash through the stud-holes only, Daisy can refinish one side of the rotor if you have a stick, ball or motivated small mammal handy.

That might make refinishing those rotors almost economical. I have quite a few of them lying around because new ones were $20. At that point they just get replaced if they're in need of refinishing.
I've been meaning to use them as bases for portable lights.
EDIT:
The system has since been upgraded with a different carabiner that can more easily clip to just the stud holes.
This is my dog Bandit, and he approves of this thread.

A mutt. :)
Dad was a purebred Shar Pei. Mom was lab + ?boxer? + who knows.
She's growing like a weed. We got her a month ago. She was 5 pounds. Weighed her yesterday 13 pounds. So 8 pounds in 4 weeks.

Dammit, you beat me to the "wow, that's sort of like my ex" comment.

It's from the steady diet of lug nuts. OK, so she didn't manage to actually eat any of them, but she sure was trying.
