It's not at $2k. It has a reserve on it.
Even worse.....I owned a Datsun 1600 - getting into it was a challenge. Being 2' higher must be fun.

That hurts even the blackest part of my soul. I really hope that used to be a busted rusted mess and he restored the body while doing that, rather than chopping up a rust free one.
I'm not sure which one was worse to butcher, the Datsun or the CJ. Both make me want to nutpunch him.

Where do you read that it was a very good driver? For all we know, he bought a 95% rust free shell.
I used to see those things, not Datsuns, with various bodies bolted on quite often. Usually sitting in the yard.
Never saw one on the road.
Not so much anymore.
I wonder if that roadster could be saved?
not a roadster, but saw this at my work once or twice, haven't seen it in awhile though
