I got pretty addicted for a while. I found a lot of the people pretty compelling, and I have an inexplicable fondness for things maritime (inexplicable considering I can't swim).
I've stopped watching, though. Seems like I missed it for a while, and when I came back it was a lot of different people and I wasn't as into it. Also seemed like it might have become a bit more normal "reality TV", though it might have been the mood I was in or caught it at a particularly melodramatic scene...
Nope. Melodrama. Although I did catch a couple of episodes where Phil? was in the hospital after his stroke and those seemed pretty damn real. At the same time, it's a shame Discovery used his misfortune to try to build ratings.
I would love to be on the film crew
Love it - watch it all the time.
I like it, but really once you have seen one season you have seen it all.
I like to watch the end result drown in drawn butter on the end of my fork, does that count?
