Really, that one is kinda like: Q: Why shouldn't you pick up girls at the laundramat? A: Because any woman that can't afford her own washing machine will never be able to support you. In other words, mac and cheese all over the inside of the new bimmer, hate to see her housekeeping skills.

Good question...not a keeper, but not a bad housekeeper either. Just didn't care at all about her car, on the inside. Outside it was always clean, go figure.

Only dated her a couple of times, she ended up marrying a friend of mine. A nice girl all in all, but the mac and cheese thing was not pleasant.

I make sure to clean up any car I am selling to get top dollar, but if I am buying I don't mind a dirty car to knock the price down. I hit the seats and carpet with a steam cleaner and throw everything else a way, my cars stay clean from then on out.

I offered to help my girlfriend clean her corolla that is full of crap, stains, food, etc but said that if I helped she had to keep it looking that way. She passed. I still ride on the nasty seats in it from time to time.

As for the title, if you don't have a title in your name as far as I am concerned you aren't interested in selling. Pennsylvania requires you to go to a title transfer place and pay all kinds of fees, both the seller and buyer present, all that good stuff. The last car I bought in maryland just had the title signed by the PO and I drove home. Pennsylvania may be a pain, but at least I know I got it from the correct owner and not some imposter signing off on it.

My older brother is one of those who lives in the filth. Drives me absolutely insane. My interior is usually messy, but not dirty. If its McDonald's trash, its getting thrown out. If it is an empty waterbottle, it is getting sealed and thrown in the passenger footwell. It usually takes me 5 minutes to clean my interior to good as new. Of course, there is no eating in my car.

The trunk is another story, that has to get vacuumed once a week because I caddy and play golf. Eh, it will have its stains, but at least its not growing anything. I hope.
