Am I the only one that cares about the blown off pass interference call more than the touchdown/interception? I (as well as everyone who has a TV) has seen this a million times, I can see why they ruled it a touchdown, but the play should have been negated by the penalty anyway.
Point is as already stated, the refs need to control their game and not let the players or coaches give them lip. If they want respect they need to start earning it on the field.
I see the [missed] penalty and the [miss-called] interception as one and the same. They had 2 chances to make a call that would result in the correct outcome, and they missed both.
Penalties are missed a lot, and honestly, it is no big deal. Pass interception after review? Uh uh. That is not okay.

They can pick up a flag after penalty under a play that is being reviewed, but I don't think they can throw a flag for it after a review. Not 100% sure. But possession most certainly can be reviewed and changed. But of course, there was a push off that was so blatant it should have been called. Even with a "Hail Mary" toss up like that where people are all over each other.

Certain penalties can be assessed upon review, like intentional grounding or 12 men on the field, but I doubt any of the "moving violations" like holding or pass interference can be.
Knowing that some of these refs came from the Lingerie Football League has made me lose a bit of respect for that great organization.
Getting closer. It could be resolved in the next 24 hours. Most of the "regular" refs have passed their physicals and are up-to-date on the new rules and training. Both sides have come closer together after the Monday night game.
This Thursday may be the last night of the replacement refs or possibly the first night of the veteran refs.
Either way, I have learned more about refs over the last couple of weeks than I really care to know.
Done, refs returning Thurs.
