If you think the only application of "buffing out" is a sexual innuendo, you may be a bit too pre-occupied with something not related to cars.
I'm with thedude on this...the buffing out comment was funny the first time I heard it, a million times ago. The innuendo jokes never were.

And it's not an innuendo. It's a statement of irony. You can buff out a small scuff on paint, but not a deformation caused by your car striking a tree at a high rate of speed.

PS it's a requirement for someone, anyone, to post "that'll buff right out" as soon as possible after a pic of a crashed car is posted. I thought it was in poor taste at first but I can appreciate the simple humor behind it.
