They've been doing this for 20 years...I always enjoy it (I just stopped welding this morning to listen to it...hardly anything makes me stop welding)

I sometimes wonder how many people would answer correctly if you asked them what the first line of the Declaration of Independence was, and among those who answered wrong, what percentage would answer "We hold these truths to be self-evident" vs. "We the People of the United States."

I'm a weird bastard.

First line?

When a government has ceased to protect the lives, liberty and property of the people, from whom its legitimate powers are derived, and for the advancement of whose happiness it was instituted, and so far from being a guarantee for the enjoyment of those inestimable and inalienable rights, becomes an instrument in the hands of evil rulers for their oppression.

I would have accepted "When in the course of human events."
