I'd love to see it back.
I know it's probably just me, but I couldn't care less about how many posts I have compared to others. Having more posts doesn't equate to more knowledge or wisdom. Just look at miata.net. Most of the high-post-count people over there are absolute jackasses who must do nothing all day except surf that site.

There is more on the leader board than just post counts.
Margie replied the last time this was asked and said they didn't include it in the port to the new message board. Last post here.
I would be nice to see what the dork status levels are. I have no idea if ultra dork is higher than mega dork.
Miata.net is kindof a cesspool in general. Those that hang around/post the longest are most likely to be the dumbest.

I'm not sure but I gained the ability to completely wipe my memory of all future events for the next maybe 8-12hrs with just a little scotch so I think I must have leveled up recently.

It's the opposite on GRM, duh!
We just had a nice conversation with our web people, and let's just say that there's a darn good chance that the leader board will return.
Foreshadowing: It will tied to some very neat (yet optional) usability features.
