Internet memes are only funny when they remain on the internet, IMHO. When they cross over into real life, it becomes some lame inside joke in which no one is interested.

I dunno... many people were mightily amused by one sticker in particular on my car at the Challenge. I'll be working goatse into the mix next year.

I could probably allow a Challenge-related special dispensation, since it's nearly impossible to be douchey at the Challenge. One of the few places where douchey=funny.

In theatre/entertainment businss.. "Swag" is what the bands give the stage hands-- usually a cheap Tee Shirt with the band's logo-- as a way of thanks. Not sure when the term got taken over by the idiots

And all this time - at least 25+ years - I've thought swag was a "scientific, wild-ass guess".

Nah, "free swag"/"swag bags" will still exist outside of "having mad swag".

Same word, two very different meanings. A good night might involve having both.

"Wearing said flat brim hat on the rearmost part of your head with said flat brim pointing straight up is a thing now?" I imagine a lot of fads and trends have come and gone while I'm either machining parts, fixing cars, exercising or sleeping. 3rd shift will do that to you. There are a few trends that I like, for instance hot-linking pictures or pictures with captions or cats...cats are berkeleying hilarious! Get the berkeley off of my berkeleying lawn!!!!

I know, right?

I have stickers sideways on the back window of my E30, and have for more than 3 years. One of them is an orange "HOOLIGAN" sticker that I got from the westside guys at the challenge.

At this point, yes I think the fad has run its course. But I'm leaving mine on, because high school was fun and now my car is vintage, which is totally in y0.

Sorry if this is repeating the obviously bogus, but nothing offends me more than the "NUTZ" hanging off the rear of trucks here in the south. Angled stickerz?, Stuffed animalzzz? All cool, just keep the overcompenzzation to yourselvz.

Is it a certain limited edition sticker on the side of the car perhaps?

So correct I am giving you an A!

"Dude, it's gonna be soooo funny if you put that sticker on your car. tehehehehe."

The sticker bomb, stance people are the frat boy of the automotive world. They think they are really funny/witty/cool, but everyone else knows they are just trend following douchers and no one is impressed. Ya, I said it bro... Come at me bro!!!

Don't forget to hang chrome truck nuts underneath. For added accuracy.

There's a big difference between "Swag, and "Shwag." The stance crowd is familiar with both.

berkeley you old man! And E36 M3ty music has always been a thing. I was gonna say something about how I shop at goodwill, but then I realized you were talking about those idiots who dress like toddlers given free reign over what they get to wear that day and took it off the list.
