I have a button crock pot. I did a thing the other day. I know it was on. It lights up. I know it was on cooking. The side was warm. I came home, my roast was raw. Someone, or something, had reset my crock pot. It blinked at me, like "you berkeleyin idiot, you didn't tell me how to cook this, so I didn't at all. Its frozen pizza for you tonight!"

My new garage door opener came with MyQ which is their internet connectivity thing. I thought it was a gimmick until I couldn't remember if I had shut the garage door after leaving home. I opened the app, and sure enough, it was open. I hit the button on the screen and the door closed and told me when it was successfully closed. I'm a convert.

We got one of those Instant Pots because a friend was posting all kinds of delicious dinner pics all over FB. Yeah, I used it twice. berkeley that, I’ll stick with frozen E36 M3.
