Think the Grassroots collective need to start donating $$$ to have the "Grassroots Motorsports and/or Classic Motorsports Ridiculous Cheap Motorsports Complex and Other Events"
Yeah, I have seen that listing before. By the way, I saw a young guy named Jeff Gordon race there in 1991 or so--he was in the Baby Ruth car. Even then, he had a line of people waiting to get his autograph. (Oddly, I was there as a guest of Coach Glanville.)
That's a pretty small track. If the barrier between the track and paved infield can be removed, you could have a good-sized slab of pavement to set up courses on.
I have to admit, I've kinda missed the place. For years, one of the rituals of staying overnight at Road Atlanta was to watch the folks running at Lanier on Saturday night (there's a hill next to Hwy.53 where you can see about 2/3rds of the track across the street).
