I'm not one to buy lots of new stuff, so I don't have a lot of occasion to buy new stuff online. I do need some tires for the Z28, though, and will likely be buying new. It still amazes me that I can buy 4 tires and pay $50+ for shipping and then pay to have them mounted and still be money ahead of buying from a local "brick and mortar."

Anyway...more to the point. Does anyone know if there are any standing discount codes for any of the old standby online tire dealers? I did a moment of search and it seems like the google results give mostly manufacturers' coupons. I'm looking to buy the cheapest in my size anyway, so I'm probably SOL...but thought I'd throw out a request here real quick just in case.

Any little bit helps!

Thanks, Clem

I've never seen a discount code for Tire Rack, only manufacturer rebates.

Discounttiredirect.com usually has some special running every month or so. A little over a year ago I bought two sets of Falkens at $100 off per set.

About $100 shipped for four 14" Azenis. I wish I bought a set of R compounds as well.

Yes, I missed that "$100 off" sale by a day because I didn't pull the trigger in time! Darnit.

I wish they'd do it again now. If anybody knows of any rumors.... ;)

I could never find any. My new tires were more expensive than the new set of wheels they got mounted on UGH!

I was able to talk a "brick and mortar" store last week into a price, with mount, balance, valve stems, and tax, that was $10 above what the same tires were with shipping. Money talks, yo!

My uncle works at Tire Rack. Their prices on all tires (except michelin) are insanely close to their cost. He is able to sell two sets at cost to family members per year. I got a set of Kumhos at cost and the price per tire was only about $10 cheaper than their advertised price on the website.

I think they don't have coupons because they're already really cheap.
