Look at the size of that banner!
That thing must be the size and nearly the weight of a large SUV even when vacuum-packed. How did they get it into the stadium? Did they get other fans to co-operate on the spot or did they pre-arrange to have people in certain positions ready to help unfurl it?

Hmm, to me more distasteful than impressive.
It is, but that doesn't diminish how impressive it was. If anything, it's even more amazing that this operation was pulled off by the same people stupid enough to want to deliver this message.

I'm impressed. Who can even print something like that?
^I know! Is there a printer somewhere that's 10 storeys wide!?

Considering how uppity soccer fans get, its probably more impressive than distasteful.....as it isn't unheard of to assault players for things like this.

Any billboard shop here in the US could do it. They might have things like that in the old world.

and how much did that cost? Someone really was mad at this dude. I wonder if there was a kickstarter.....
It's only not-distasteful by soccer spectator standards

In one piece though? Billboards are usually made of multiple panels. This is one big piece.

I didn't even think about that. Derp.
Here's something to consider, maybe it wasn't printed, maybe it's a mosaic of white and black sheeting on top of the red background sheet.

I'll go with distasteful. It is huge though. I wonder why it's in English?
Hahahaha!
What exactly do you people find distasteful about a team depicting the beheading of the opponent's midfielder? Jeez. First you complain about political correctness then you turn your back on some people who obviously never heard of it.

I don't really know, but at one time I came across an eBay seller with a TON of old billboards averts that were being re-sold as tarps and they had some pretty huge sizes available. One side was black or white and the other was basically the billboard all in one huge piece.
Mndsm asked the same question I had. That looks expensive.
And stupid.

That's the part that makes me laugh.
It looks to be one piece but it's hard to tell from the picture, even opening it in a new tab for the full size. Maybe it was painted on rather than printed?
Silly soccer fans got the words mixed up!
