I think it might... but its one of those things where people would take notice but eventually wouldn't pay attention to it anymore. They need to implement those in houston. Everytime it rained there would be a dozen accidents on my way into work.
I generally find that when it rains.. people forget how to drive. They actually cause more accidents by being OVERLY cautious, slowing and stopping when they do not need to, and pulling out slowly as to avoid any and all wheel spin.
Drive to the conditions.. I like that term. I wish people did it.
I like getting passed on the right by college kids in subarus doing 75 mph then watching them understeer into trees.
Hey, I'm recently re-enrolled in school and drive a Subaru and have yet to understeer into a tree. What I love is when the first snow flies and people in 4x4's/SUV think they can still drive 75 and other people on the interstate freak out and are going 35.

Driven in Indy when it snows lately? It's infuriating.
I was passing SUVS like it was nobody's business. And i was in my Celica. On Ventus RS2s. And i wasn't being unsafe at all.

I live in Houston. Aren't there already a dozen accidents on your way to work when it rains?
Yesterday, no accidents on my way to work at 7:30, today, ten accidents by 6:30 because of rain. I took the route that doesn't take highways.
Regardless of how affective it is, that sign is berkeleying awesome. If I was Slayer, I'd be hiring those dudes to promote record releases.

I had the pleasure of driving around Indy this winter when it had a foot of snow on the streets that the city wasn't bothering to plow. At least I was in our box truck, although I almost got it stuck a couple times. I did freak out one of my guys who was riding shotgun - the only way to get the truck to turn corners was to give it gas & power oversteer my way around. That's alot of fun it an 24' truck, in a foot of snow, with traffic, and no way to see the lane markings....

Now that is the hard truth, who has the balls to show that truth here
You'd think that people from the Seattle-Tacoma area would know how to drive in the rain, no they all slow down to 40 on the highway, and do berserk things like slow down to allow people to merge onto the highway, or move over to the center lane to let someone in with out looking. That or they "merge" and I use that term very, very loosely, at 35, and FAIL to yield completely to any traffic on the left!!!!

Ahhh! But they do stop for pedestrians. Blew my mind! In Chicago, neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor pedestrian will stop those properly motivated drivers.
