They're right up there with my car buying skills . I like the idea, though.

If you have enough room to push with the tractor, I got something like this to clamp on the bucket of my tractor for trailers:

I have only used it with a 6x8 utility trailer, so I don't know how much tongue weight it would be good for.

Turns out that I just about have enough space to turn the trailer around with the LJ, which is both considerably smaller and more maneuverable than my truck.

I'm still going to pursue the tractor idea further, which might provide a suitable excuse to outfit my tractor with a three point hitch. It looks like the existing hitch mounting point on the tractor is a little too low to make it work with even a raised ball mount, although I'll probably give that a shot given how much a three point hitch setup is going to cost me.
