Do not purchase a house near me

It seems as if everywhere I move crazy E36 M3 happens within a very close proximity. I'm starting to think it's me instead of it always being "them"....

List of weirdness. 1. When I lived in KOP PA, guy gets out of jail and murders his old GF in a motel six 1/4 mile from my house. 2. Also in KOP... a stop N shop worker refuses the advances of some guy who works in the Deli.. So he goes home gets a winchester and wastes the whole family... also .25 miles from my house 3. In chucktown SC.. Lady stabs man outside our Kmart.. Causing my wife and I to henceforth calling it the STABMART 4. Taco bell robbed and couter person shot 0.1mi from my house. 5. Also in chucktown.. People decide to hang out on New years eve in the parking lot of the tire king. Man with handgun shows up decides he likes to ventilate heads....

I could go on...

I just moved to the Hartford CT area and was in a corporate apartment for 2 weeks while looking for a place to stay. This was back in June. Well, there was a running gun battle with some bank robbers right down US7 right in front of the hotel we were staying in.....

So.. Now we move to a place near work and some lady with a baby gets robbed at a bank near us. A good samaritan fights with the dude, jumping on the car ala an action movie, crushing the windshield, going through the sunroof into the laps of the assailants and winds up catching the robbers. Well, I didn't know what was going on, because I was at work, but the damn whole thing happened right near my apartment. Hell the building referenced in the map in the article below is MY APARTMENT BUILDING they hit.. ( I live in a different part of the complex)..

Good thing my wife and child were in Chicago..

Ohh Yeah.. sucks that guys Yenko clone got dented. On the news they showed him with a bunch of bandages on. He also dosen't have any Health Insurance, so He has to pay for his emergency care out of his pocket. That doubly sucks.

please stay up north.... please don't move to western North Carolina... we have enough problems, don't need you and whatever it is that's following you around...

Well there's your other problem.

This summers had too much rain and has really put the damper on random shootings. Last year was insane though.

I live in the New Haven area, and work in the Hartford area. I get to double dip in crazy bullE36 M3.

Ehh... I don't know why everyone dumps on hartford for shootings.. You have little to no crime around here compared to other places I have lived.

I worked in Camden NJ when it was the murder capital of the US. I also bought a house in N. Charleston SC which is in the top 20 of violent crime in the US.

Seriously this place is one of the safer places I've ever lived.

why don't you just move into nicer neighborhoods, you cheap piece of E36 M3?

Funny thing is I've always lived in really nice areas.. Bucks County PA, Overland Park KS(Saw my first house with an elevator in it there at the age of 3), and now I'm in Glastonbury CT which is a very nice place....

I had a crackhead try to break into my house a few years ago when I was single and living in Bethalto. It was around 3 am. I had come home from work a few hours earlier,taken a shower and then passed out on the couch. I heard the rear door knob rattle so I went to investigate and wound up chasing the guy down the street even though I was much less than fully dressed. He was highly motivated to elude me...

I'm working the night shift in Grand Rapids, MI and I got a board and flipped http://www.scanmichigan.com/ on. I’m sure that every medium sized city has a site like this but is basically a Police, Fire, Medical scanner for west Michigan

There are a lot of medicals tonight (mostly from drinking, drinking related injuries, and fights)

But these 4 stick out Someone took 20 Zanax 3 Guys who have started 5 dumpster fires around the city 30 Person Brawl behind a bar no reported weapons Stabbing in my subdivision (guy got stabbed in the thumb by the wife)

Right. Come visit me in my colorful corner of East Hartford. Actually, it's not that bad. Fun fact - there are something like 52 languages spoken in a 4 square mile neighborhood - and this is suburbia!

Some woman was robbed in Glastonbury...AT THE LIBRARY! I have been to that library a few times when I was working in the area I would have never have been afraid of being mugged. I actually think you are very lucky, since bad stuff happens around you, but not to you.

Yeah, way to go. Since you moved out of N. Chas., all the trouble seems to have migrated over to our side in W. Ashley. I thought you said you were going to take it with you?

We did have a nice high speed chase with some gal ramming cars at the Hwy 61/Sam Rittenburg intersection to get away from the police. That was about 1/2 mi. from the casa, but at least it was car related crime.

Heck the week I moved into my current house a guy was shot and killed outside the mexican restaurant about a block away. I have noticed since then they have had very little business.

Oh then a couple weeks ago in one of the towns near here (girlfriends family lives there) they found a bunch of severed body parts...from 3 different people. This included a severed head in a backpack. At least one of the people was from here in La Grande.

For a long time it's been nice and quiet over here in my corner of Chucktown; just the way I like it. iggy, the crazies must have followed you. Thanks!

Oh, lovely Camden. I lived in North Philadelphia from 2000 to 2004, so I can vaguely relate.

And if you want to blend in, start dumping on Hartford. Until they get a real grocery store and a bookstore down town, I refuse to say anything nice about it.

I am going to turn this around and hope that ingnorant never moves to my neighborhood.

Glad I'm out in the sticks... the nearest city is simply a collage town with 2 big school. Pretty calm durring the summer and mostly drunken collage kid nonsense the rest of the time.
