I'm looking for someone to design a couple of logos for two blogs I currently have. Strictly hobby blogs so they're run on a used Miata parts budget, but obviously I'm happy to pay for someone's services.

Idk if it's exactly what you are looking for, but this is the only person I know of who does stuff like that. Just as a warning some of the art in the link is probably not work appropriate.

I'd encourage you to try some of the crowdsourcing graphic design sites. I've used them for some graphics I needed for work and was amazed at the quality for the effort and price. I don't remember which one I used though... 99designs? crowdspring? Others like Designcrowd and designarena are supposed to be good too.
99designs was a place I was trying to remember, thanks for the reminder.
I'm fine with using a site like that but of course if I can do business with an individual on here, that would also be great. Keeping it in the GRM family, so to speak.

I think you need to find someone who knows cars too if its a motoring website ,
just having an artist may not be enough ,
Same as trying to do something with a "1950s" look and the artist is 20 years old.....
