We have 6 fur-babies.
"Kota", our Husky, was living in a house by herself @ 6 months old. The previous owners got her and then had a kid and then moved out and back in with their parents and just kind of left her because she was "too much". She's my princess
"Wally" , the brown and black dog pictured, above was a "pound puppy". We got him from ye olde local shelter. He's a dachshund/lab mix. He's our snuggle buddy. If you're laying down or lounging, Wally is there with you.
The Tabby cat in the picture above was "Skitten" but we renamed him "Skitty". A family moved to the sticks and didnt want him to get "eaten". We got him from the pet shop on an adotion day. At the time we wanted a cat but the Husky had a bit of small prey drive so we wanted a cat that could kick some ass. He did. And that Husky has never bothered another cat since. he died in 2011 or 2012 from cancer. we now have another tabby named "luke". Looks identical, but when we were asked if we wanted "luke" we made it very clear we really weren't ready for another Tabby cat. Apparently we didn't make it clear enough, and we just cant say "no" to more animals, so he stayed.
Back on track. After "Skitty" laid down the law and started running things in the house "annie", (the mostly white cat) shoed up. One day I removed the bench seat from my truck and installed buckets. When I went out to the (locked) garage the next morning there was this white cat sleeping on the bench seat. I said "stupid cat, if you're here on monday you're getting shots and fixed". She was, so she did. We named her "Little Orphan Annie". She's the grumpy one.
Alma (above) our terrier, was found in a flower pot one morning at our neighbors house. They woke up to some barking coming from their front porch and saw a dog in a flower pot. They called us, and we took her in. She chases lights, and is convinced it's her job to constantly keep an eye on the kids (she does a good job)
Meowthra (with Wally, above) was found under a car here in Kuwait. We were doing our kid's registration for school and a Ford Focus meowed at me as I walked by. I stuck my hand under and came out with a TINY kitten. The kids named her "meowthra" and she's our latest addition :) She's a spaz, and brought a whole new energy to the house.
Good times
Four cats here, all ladies, from little kitten to very old one
A rabbit, 4 cats & 4 sugar gliders. It’s a bit of a zoo here...
Theo is my dude.
Fat Cat is our big boy.
Karma is our new baby. She’s 100% mutt and sweet as can be. Her “sisters” are a pair of older cats. Pepper is a cute tortoise shell and Cleo is a gorgeous short haired Himalayan.
Spirit is my fur baby, and like the rest of my kids, she doesn't listen to me, either. :/
We always had bigger dogs, after we had to put Rufus down I said that's it; not doing this again. Then we saw Stella in the Puppy Bowl.....
She's a Chiweenie, Chihuahua-Dachsund mix.
Three cats, one husky. The husky looks just like Hungary Bill's and replaces our Puli. Light coloured fur everywhere instead of dark fur.

Boykin spaniel he love the water
4.
1 cat. His official name is Moustafa the Moustache, but he's black with a white mustache, the name came to me out of nowhere and it makes me giggle. However, we frequently call him "Garbage Cat" because he eats his food, the dog food, and has learned to open the trash can and will dig scraps out. He seems to be found of hot wings.
3 dogs. 2 King Charles Spaniels, the older one is Truman, he's approaching 5. He's lazy and chill. His son, Harvey, is 1.5 years old and a basket case full of energy that never seems to stop.
1 Pit bull/lab mix - Disco. We adopted her from the pound, she was the only one that got along with our existing dogs to the point of taking her home. See's an exciteable mess, doesn't realize she isn't a lap dog ~50-55lbs, but she's super sweet, even though she has a pretty scary bark.
In reference to the old turbo's, I call her Disco Potato.
My wife and I brought together 3 dogs and four cats upon our marriage. With the arrival of children came the gradual passing of elderly pets. We've been without any critters for, wow, gotta be close to ten years now.
Took the plunge on Saturday and adopted a frisky mixed breed puppy born in a shelter halfway across the state. She's starting to feel right at home.

We've got Milo the Great Pyrenees and Frosty, the Samoyed/Aussie Heeler (we think) mix. Adopted them at 8/9 years old in November 2016. Good boys. Worried about Frosty though, I fear we're going to have to make a hard decision before too long as he is having more accidents in the house.
We have a baby on the way, so I think these guys are it for us for a while. After that, I can see another Pyr, but would love a Golden. Grew up with Retrievers. I have an irrational love for those dogs.

Cute thread, but from a canoe farmer. khouji posts this same questions around different forums and links them back to an online pet retailer where they apparently work.
<mod edit> Thanks for the research on this, I removed the link to their online store from this post - ECM
Is there a way to blow up the link but keep the thread? Maybe rename it or something?

First off we have Thomas and Edison, brothers from another mother. Edison is the fluffy one, both external and in the brain.
Then we have Sadie, the Mutt-Weiler mix. She's an awesome guard dog. Compact package, but big enough to scare the crap out of the local when she hits the fence running.
Lily is the supermodel of Basset hounds
Clementine is the Chihuahua that when not perched in the back window of whatever car I am driving can frequently be found chewing on Lily.
I adore those two dogs.

We had a half lab-half basset mix years ago named Iago. Those knobby little splayed legs still crack me up.
This is Holly. She is a rescued Pit/Shepherd Mix, and she is a Very Good Girl.
Her muzzle is turning gray (she's about 6?) and it's making me sad.
strax is my boxer pit mix. I'll post the rest when my phone stops acting up
this is storm, she's lab and Lancashire heeler mix. She was supposed to be around 40lbs fully grown. She's 80lbs and everyone thinks she's a German shepherd. She's a giant overly hyper lap dog. She's still mostly puppy.
Maci. Shes our little old lady. Shes about 12 now.
