Just wondering.
Don't find it particularly useful, but you have to keep in mind that I also resisted Facebook for a long time.
Anything that implies you are a "Twit" is not for me. Oh Ya and birds tweet not people. There are so many places I can take that one.. . . .
On another note. What is a hash-tag? It has become a big part of the Speed Channel lingo and I for the life of me don't know what they are babbling about.
Can you hash-tag your tires? Will hash-tagging your suspension make it handle better? Speed Channel has gone to far embracing the all about you culture that has been propagated by twitter and the face book's of the world.
GRM PLEASE DOT GO DOWN THAT ROAD.
EDIT: I just looked up hash-tag on the wiki and I am even more confused. I must be getting old. LOL
Won't follow you on twitter or facebook. Some day investigate who owns your content on social media sites (not you) - then investigate where the intellectual property component of those businesses are located (not the US). Search of your stuff is no longer under the jurisdiction of the US. Not that I have anything worth worrying about - just don't like how easily privacy and rights are handed over.
I'll use it if I'm at a reveal and want to post something really quickly for my outlet... but otherwise I find it's just a stream of useless noise.
NO to Twitter and YES to Facebook.
Tweets are just too short to be any good. I've found there's much more non-content to Tweets than there is to FB.

+1.
And I still don't really see a point to Facebook.
Nope. I have no use for any of it. I'd probably say the exact opposite if I was J Edgar Hoover though so it's all relative to what one is using it FOR.
I'm on Twitter (@Strike0_PBJ)
There are a few people I follow that have nearly 30K tweets . . . LOL!!
I just just use it as a venue to follow my favorite drivers and Speed announcers (and some of them follow my hilarity )
You should know I like Twitter. I've been following you for a while.
On the other hand, I can't stand Facebook and have never signed up.
I only use Facebook when a friend actually talks to me and says "Hey I sent you a message/link/picture/video on Facebook." Otherwise I don't. And I still don't get Twitter. So file me under the technophobe column. The band I'm in uses both, because apparently it's how the kids communicate now. Which is funny, because I'm the youngest member of the band.
I have drawn an arbitrary line between Facebook and Twitter. FB offers some chance for actual content (however open to abuse) whereas Twittter seems like the domain of people who are terrified of being alone with their own thoughts.
I have heard a good reason yet for me to be on either Twitter or Facebook. But then I don't see any need for a "smartphone" either. Maybe the fact that my last full-time job title was Programmer/Analyst has something to do with it.
I dont mind either. I just dont see how twitter is as usefull as other social media outlets. I could care less about what athletes/celebs have to say about politics and other issues.
