Our UPS guy is super cool , we have his cell # to track him down and can meet him at the CVS every morn at 9:45 sharp to pick anything up we need asap . He always gets something special for him at xmas .. We are commercial though

Our shop UPS guy is excellent, as a result he gets free bmw tech support and parts at cost plus tax.
I don't blame the driver for packages that show up looking like they've been through the ringer. They are the last in a long chain of people who touch the package and (IMO) least likely to throw it around, since they're the face that the potentially disgruntled customer sees.
I haven't ever tipped my UPS or FedEx driver. I don't get that much stuff. I have to pay through the nose for garbage service and it's not the most reliable - never thought to tip but wouldn't do it at this point anyway.
The UPS drivers around here seem to turn over pretty frequently.
The Fed-Ex guy is great. He's always asking for details on my latest projects.
