I can't answer the self ban question but that is a great picture of Hillary to use for a caption contest.
The ads are based on your previous browsing habits. Mine are all related to the websites of my clients, or stuff I browsed on Amazon.

that's actually one of the better pictures I have seen of her. I am sick to death of newspapers choosing the absolutely least flattering picture to post of somebody. It seems they ALL do this to everyone. It's like the editors enjoy making people look their absolute worst. Mug shots look better
Well it's actually interesting you got that ad. We set it up to restrict all political ads. Hopefully you guys are seeing ads that apply to you.

Thanks to something in my company's spam filter, when I'm on the GRM site at work I don't see ads at all. When at home, I don't recall seeing anything other than car-related ads.

That explains why I always see cargurus and autotrader stuff.
My ads have absolutely nothing to do with my browsing history. It's all new car ads, I haven't looked at anything new car related in five years.
