It continues the line of the red side marker light pretty well. I like it. A tasteful red front splitter would be a great addition.
Then lower it on some gloss black 17s with a red lip.
Incidentally that stock grey does neat things with reflected light. It looks good in that pic.

I like it, agree that adding a couple more accents to tie it all together.
Word of caution, cars that are "asphalt" colored seem to get hit more than any other color. Adding something to grab other drivers' attention is a measure of self preservation.
I used to think my mom was crazy for insisting she had a hard time seeing gray cars.. until I owned an Edwardian Grey Saab 900. I had more near misses in that car than all my other car's combined. From people pulling out in front, to lane changes where I was already driving.. people did not see that car at all.
As for your red spoiler.. I am not digging it, sorry.

I love this place because you folks tell it like it is, no BS.
I normally don't ask for people's aesthetic opinions, because tastes vary, but when I bolted it on and stepped back, I really couldn't decide if I liked it or thought it was tacky.
I think that the people who said it needs a few more red accents to "tie it together" are on the right path, but I also want it to be 100% reversible for resale time. Center caps and mirror caps might be enough to do the trick.
Thanks again for your honesty.
on that same respect.. I really wish that cars like the Chevy Vans, the Honda CRV had painted the band that went up and over the window, as they touch the taillights, it would look like an extension of the lights.. especially on the van with it's dark gray plastic

That looks like a 16 year olds car to me. Stock economy car, mismatched spoiler. Make sure to drive around with the fog lights on all the time and a subwoofer rattling the hatch to make it feel complete

I like it and agree that it needs a few more accent pieces.

I like it. I think red mirrors would be just right.
I don't think black wheels would look good. Maybe anthracite...

If you go to the expense of powder coating the wheels, I think you should color match them to the paint with a THIN red stripe.
Otherwise a stripe of red vinyl on the front valiance.
And done.
or
Go whole hog...
I think it would be really cool if you powder-coated the wheels anthracite, and painted the chrome on the grille red. That would really tie the front and back of the car together.

I don't mind it, as others have said, it lends its self well to other accent pieces.
I know you've said your not convinced about vinyl, but you could use it as temp solution to try it in either flat black, carbon fiber or anything else that you like the look of.
I think black wheels, badges, mirrors and lower front difuser would look great with the rear wing black as well

That would probably look good too.
i dig the red wing. im usually not a fan of painting wheels black but in your case i think it would look better.
actually that A-Team suggestion is hilarious. your car is just the right shape to pull it off with a little red vinyl.

Not sure if serious, but thats brilliant.
I like it. Add a few more red accents, but don't over do it.
Here is a sample which may be just enough color to be noticed. Not boy racer noticed but rather just enough color for safety in the otherwise asphalt colored car.
A very simple Plastidip project that is not permanent if you do not want it to be but durable enough if you choose to keep it.
Compare to stock.
That black/red above is somewhat reminiscent of the Nova Twin Cam
oh my... you are bringing back the "euro" Chevy's?
