I can't believe those stupid things have lasted (legally) this long. On a side note, who is surprised that these guys in the giant trucks have placed male genitalia on them? That's right, nobody.

You know what's weird- I could get behind outlawing the trucks (okay, not outlawing, but somehow regulating their use) before I could get behind outlawing the stupid nuts. I don't know about where you're drawing the line. I think that's proably a good rule of thumb and that's what people should do, but not sure it should be enforced by rule of law. Some people are ass holes. If one of them is walking down the street saying all manner of offensive stuff (I'll refrain from citing a hypothetical example and let you come up with your own) that would be uncomfortable for a parent and a 5 year old, it would suck, but it wouldn't be illegal.

Can't ban stupid. Hell, we usually send it to Congress.

That is so painfully true

I've sometimes thought about spoofing the whole trend by declaring my truck is female and putting a huge plastic cow udder under it.

I would. You'd have to wait until the end of this summer, but, for some reason, the idea of "Bob Costas Wagon" on the back of an Isuzu driven by a guy who uses "curmudgeon" as his user name is hilarious to me.

Hmmm I don't much care for Truck Nads but I really don't see how we can really expect to Legislate them away. I am just leery of more laws.

Bingo. It's one of many signals that tell me, "You have no interest in meeting this person", so in a way, I kind of like them.

So true.

NASCAR stickers, Trucknuts, Calvin stickers and energy drink stickers are a great indication of personality.

A friend of mine's son is representing Mrs. Tice in the 1st SC case.

Seems she was a passenger in the offending truck & was still arrested.

Scott Bishoff was invited to appear on some late nite nationallly televised talk show but thought better of it.

His Mom is proud.

They've faded out of coolness here in the land of the eternal redneck. I was using them, like others, as a sign I didn't need to meet that person.

Banning something that's largely ignored because it's mildly offensive to those few with enormous sticks up their asses is pretty stupid. So is ticketing people for it.

Wah, it's a plastic ballsack on someones car. As long as it can't fall the hell off and damage your vehicle, who are you to dictate what people can put on something they own? I hate your douchey coexist sticker on your fagwagon, but that doesn't mean you should get hit up for a few hundred bucks for being an opinioned asshat.

Besides, I use bumper stickers, nuts and other assorted poorly thought out vehicle decorations as a good gauge of the owner and whether or not I'd want to hit them if I met them.

I blame the young suburban 1st child mothers for this stupidity. Nobody else gets worked up enough to actively ban something this inconsequential.

I may be drunk.
