Honey Claws--Beat of the Wet Eve
(not on youtube for whatever reason)

Late to the game, but I only heard it for the first time last week. Big "When The Levee Breaks" type of electronic beats in a melodic style that is a bit like Vampire Weekend-meets-Matisyahu-style dancehall.
Big sound, big melodies. Fun track.
Thanks to my son,
I've been listening to the Black keys lately

That's a cool sound. I thought it was the Vampire Weekend guy at first.
Some interesting hip-hop stuff on their myspace page, too - http://www.myspace.com/honeyclaws

They certainly make some good beats--the white rapper stuff is a bit weak, but the beats are good, IMHO.
Yeah, the Black Keys are cool. Keeping it real w/ blues and soul.
I LOVE their cover of the Beatles "She Said, She Said"

A complete re-working of the Beatles chords--awesome.

Remember it?! Dino Jr. was my biggest musical influence as a guitar player. The liver version of "Thumb" (from the Whatever's Cool With Me EP) basically defined me as a guitarist. To this day, that's one of the best guitar solos in rock music (IMHO).
