If you like the Beach Boys and British Invasion bands, then you'll like this track.

Big hooks, big melodies, very catchy.

Cool tune. Unfortunately, radio stations over here have been plugging it non-stop ever since it was released.

Wow--hip stations.

I listen to Sirius so I'm out of touch w/ radio. This got a bit of play on the Indie channel so far.

Damn me for being so mainstream...

Keep in mind they're an Australian band. And it's only the couple of indie stations who're playing their song, (albeit, constantly)...so not really mainstream .

Is it wrong of me to think that, every time I hear a song or group like that, they started out playing metal or punk and switched because they weren't good enough to make it with that and switched over to something more "commercially viable?"

That thought literally never crossed my mind. It crosse4d my mind regularly in the grunge years, when metal guys lost their gigs, re-did/un-did their hair and did their best Nirvana Jam in Chains impression, but this strikes me as very organic.

The Beach Boys and the Beatles will inspire many songwriters/arrangers for many generations to come, IMHO.
