Drag race shows

I remember when "Pinks" came out a few years ago. I watched it a couple of times but didn't like it. The whole "lose the race lose your ride" thing just bugged me. But in Dec. I caught a "Pass Time" marathon and had a blast watching it. My wife even enjoyed it. We spent a couple of hours watching and guessing the times. Have it on the Tivo.

Well, I got the flu yesterday. Home sick today. Going through the Tivo, I saw my wife had set up "Pinks All Out". This was totally different from the show I saw a few years ago. A huge shoot-out style race with an eventual $10k winner. I loved it! I've never been a drag racing fan, but I have to say, watching these shows is winning me over. The cars are neat and it's fun to watch them tear it up. Now I'm kinda jonzin' for a ProSolo!

Just in time for the entire Speed Network to get cancelled.

I remember one of the first Pinks All Out episodes where a woman driving an old white ford pickup won to whole sheebang. She would be laughing like a little girl as she was travelling down the track. It really neutralized my scorn for Rich Douchbag.
