Over the weekend I built a 30x40 gravel parking area for my two trailers and ex-GRM car. What I am looking for is an edging that will be able to keep the gravel in the parking area and that I can drive over with the truck and trailer. The trailer is about 3K lbs. and the truck is 7K lbs. Or should I just buy the cheap stuff and replace as needed.

Thanks, Paul B

Probibly overkill but my first thaught is 6x6 landscaping timbers.

Grass pavers?

I lined my gardens with the stuff in the first picture. Used to be raised beds made of railroad ties but even those rot away. These are made of recycled car tires but are 4" tall, NFG for your application.

Maybe the second image is more for you, it can be hammered into the ground with 6" spikes. I think even a 1" tall retainer would do it.

I am just thinking blocks buried into the dirt at the edge of the gravel.

Where did you find the rubber edging?
