Ok so a commercial for Midnight Club Los Angeles on T.V. and there were lots of blinged out cars and motorbikes driving really fast on public roads and running from the police. Does anyone else think games like this encourage street racing and other stupid behavior?

Yes.
I intend to go to city hall and complain. But I don't have my car at the office. I think I'll drag a random person out of their car in traffic and drive around until I crash it. If I'm kinda hurt, I'll go find a prostitute to bang until I feel better, then I can beat her to death with a baseball bat and take all her money.
I mean I don't think GT4 or Forza 2 do because they are on track type racing games as opposed to street racing. Also I swear these games are the reason for some very badly modified cars.
Me Hell No! When I play games thats what it is. Its also a good remider what happens when you scew up when driving. I playing games likes gran theft auto, test drive and GT4. But yes some people are dumb enough to try to live out there vidoe games....[cough] Nick Hogan [cough]
It's really going to depend on the person.
For some of us, video games allow us to "live out" running that B#&@&* off the road who's doing 10 under the speed limit and won't get off her cell phone. For others of us, it gives us the idea to run them off the road in the first place.
Like all things questionable, there're those that can handle it, and those that can't.
You sound like these people who think games like Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, and Saints Row cause violence from young teens.

After I get off the computer, I always whip out my crowbar and begin running around trying to bash open any wooden crates I find. When I see someone moving lethargically, I bash them in the head.

Duuuude! I totally messed up the other day when I used the flamethrower in the subway with 4 stars lit.
No I don't think the violent games promote violence because most people know killing people is wrong. But I think a lot fewer people think street racing is bad or dangerous. We can at least agree these games have contributed to some really badly riced out cars.

NFS:MW has caused me to install another button on my steering wheel, on the other side of the NOZZsS button. Depressing this button speeds up my reaction times and allow my car to defy the laws of physics.

Yeah. It's after the teenage years when this stuff really starts to settle into your brain.
You have to take what I say lightly, I sometiems forget sarcasm is hard to sense through intranet text.
I will admit after playing these games it makes me want to go spend money on my car to pimp it out. After playing Forza I want to go build a car to spec for NASA or SCCA. It's easier to mod them and build them in the games though, and a lot cheaper!
I still want a GRM challenge for Forza 2. $20009 Challenge lol.
Will being exposed to more violent games make you go out and kill somebody and emulate the games? No.
Will it make you a more violent person? Yes.
