Dumb forum Q

Dumb Q for a Luddite. How can I see the full width of pictures posted in this forum? Many of the larger pic's cut off on my screen and there's no scroll bar so I can move over? I've got my screen on full resolution 1280 x 1024 but I can't see them. I find the search button useless too.

The search works pretty well. If you're not getting a horizontal scroll bar, try clicking your scroll wheel if you have one. In Firefox you can also right click --> View Image.

I get the same thing of cut off pictures on the work computer which runs Internet Explorer 6 (and I do not have the rights to change it to something else.)

Not a fix but a work around:
For the picture that you want to see, right click on it
From the list pick "properties" at the bottom.
Once the properties come up, copy the web address.
Past that address into your browser and see the whole picture.
Press the back button and you will be right where you left off.

If i could I would download firefox and use that browser exclusively.

IE 6 isn't smart enough to understand the photo resizing.... so there's a cutoff. Widening your browser or upping resolution MAY help, but it depends on the image.

Aaahhhh IE 6 is my issue, and as I don't have updater rights I can't do anything about it.

Also for anyone stuck with IE at work, someone in your IT department might be happy to install Firefox on your computer, since it greatly decreases the chance of your PC catching a virus.
